Default Suchi Boat at the Yelm exit

OK, went there to try it out and remembered being there before. First of
all you order at the bar (where the boats are of course) and the food is
delivered by boat. The type I went to in CA had the loaded boats going
around and you just took what you wanted if it suited you. You're later
charged according to the colors of the dishes. The place in Lacey (Yelm
exit) has an all you can eat sushi on Wednesdays ($25) and all you can
eat rolls on Thursday ($15). We decided to go this week on Wednesday so
just ordered the regular Japanese food this time. That part was not
impressive. Hopefully the sushi night will be better.

If you are unimpressed with their regular fare, why would you want to go
back for sushi? Why not go a few extra miles up the road and have sushi in
Tacoma?

I do go to Tacoma (I like the one on I think 38th) but my husband got
used to the boats in CA, just grabbing what looked good as it goes by.
The difference was there, you paid according to the color of the plates.
We did go back to Sushi Boat for the sushi on Wednesday and it seemed
pretty good, all you can eat for about $25.
Unfortunately my husband became ill (unrelated to the food) and we
couldn't stay, or so the ambulance driver said. He hadn't drunk enough
water after he did a strenuous workout, ran 3 miles, donated blood and
then had some sake and sushi... and out he went! Must try one more time.
