One other thing I forgot to mention, my artistic skills are sorely
lacking and I have wanted to add images to the site for a long time so
if anyone has anything that they would like to contribute (that
doesn't violate any copyrights I would love to be able to include
it. That includes pictures of things that I can put in the terminology
section as well as nice images that might spruce up the site. I'd like
to keep it somewhat low bandwidth for the dialup folks (and because of
my bandwidth costs that I pay out of pocket, and I actually get a fair
number of hits to the site) as well as just not making it 'too much'
if you know what I mean. Thanks again!

Hey, thanks, Warren! Are you the owner of this site? I've been
coming here off and on for several years now, but it's been rather
moribund lately.

I don't really understand groups like this, though, I mean the
technical aspect of posting. Why does it take hours for my messages
to appear? I access the site by going to

http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=e...alt.food.sushi

But I think that there may be other and better and faster ways to
access these things, it's a gap in my computer knowhow, newsgroups or
whatever these things are called.

Also, many times I see threads that seem to have started elsewhere and
pop up here in the middle.

Is there no way to eliminate spam?

Oh well, i'm confused about a lot of things, not just this - almost
everything, actually.
