Respected all..... many a times people all over the world have been
duped by profit mongers... by passing off bad quality tea as Darjeeling

tea.... or by misinforming people about Darjeeling.... so we the people

from Darjeeling decided to help U in your quest for everything related
to Darjeeling.... U can post your questions and queries... we will try
to help U as much as we can... plz don't hesitate to ask any thing
regarding not only Darjeeling but even the Eastern Himalayan
region.....

Know the fact that Darjeeling produces only 10 million kgs of tea every

year... but 35 to 40 million kgs are sold world over labeled as
Darjeeling tea.

Hope we can be of some help.

Dear Mr./Ms./Mrs. Didier Dartois.
We are a group of local people who love our land and people, it
might sound romantic and stupid, but we have got together to sperad out
as much knowledge as we can about Darjeeling, it people, culture,
traditions and of course tea. As of now we do not have a website of our
own, but we hope to develop one in coming days. However, U can check
this website with which we are working www.darjeelingtimes.com.
There are around 20 full time members and 100 volunteers. If U need
further clarification plz do write to us, and sorry for the confusion.

Sincerely,
Upendra Mani Pradhan

I have some questions:

What are some of the major tea brands found in the US and Europe that
are genuine Darjeeling Tea as labeled?

What have been the traditional benefits of drinking Darjeeling?
