Default Japanese equivalent of TeaSpring?

TeaSpring is a well-respected online vendor of Chinese teas,
particularly
greens, among the RFDT crowd, and rightly so. My question is -
is there an equivalent vendor for Japanese greens?

I am looking for an online vendor, with a website in English. Target
teas would mostly be medium grade Senchas at reasonable prices,
say a max of around $0.25 per gram. I have done a little homework
searching old posts, and found that both O-Cha.com and Den's Tea
were mentioned. Any additional info or opinions on these or others
would be welcome. I am in the continental U.S., in case that makes
any difference.

I'm new to this group so I may be repating old news. Have you tried
www.uptontea.com? They carry a very nice assortment of Japanese teas.
What is RFDT?

I think the original poster was looking for a company selling Japanese
teas direct from Japan. Upton appears to be in the US (in Mass).

rec.food.drink.tea - this newsgroup.

(Ugh. I don't like this new Google interface. On to the post ...)

Yes, I have been a customer of Upton for a very long time, and
continue to be. I like some of their Senchas and will probably
continue to buy them from time to time. I'm just doing a bit of
poking around to see what else is out there.

Den's Tea is a Japanese company, but they have a store in the US and ship
from there. So, shipping is pretty quick and inexpensive, if you are
located in the US. They made a change a couple of years ago and ship their
teas to the US by air, rather than ship and they are much fresher, and more
expensive than they used to be. The increase in price seems to match the
increase in tea quality. Although, I really enjoyed their teas before the
change also. I've never had a bad batch of tea from them. To me they are
much better than anything I've received from Upton or Special Teas.

I posted this before but obviously did it wrong because it never
showed up. I found a lovely Japanese tea site www.tea-circle.com When
I can afford it I'll give it a try.

I think it didn't show up because it went to my e-mail, Ruth. I tried
to e-mail you back but it bounced.

Anyway, thanks for the tip.

O-cha and hibikian have been mentioned, but there is also Itoen and
Uji.

specialteas, holymtn, and yuzumura are also decent.

I've been enjoying a fairly low priced "Spider Leg Sencha" from
Nicholas Coffee, a local coffee roaster in my area.
