In Chinese HSMF means literally Yellow Mountain Hair <Feng sorta means summit..the top of the mountain). This is the typical tea from Huang Shan. HSYF: I am not sure which Yun you are talking about but it's probably the character that means cloud. More than likely a variant of the Mao Feng also sold around Anhui; more folks trying to establish a brand, maybe. |

I don't think there's any tea called Huan shan YUN feng, though huan shan mao feng is quite famous. There are some brand named as YUN JIAN, which in Chinese means the peak of cloud. Also Mao JIAN. Jian in Chinese means sharp or top of something... e.g. :Xin Yang Mao Jian, Guiling Mao jian; Dong Zhi yun jian...ect. |
