Has anybody ordered tea from Thunderbolt Tea lately? I placed an order
on Jan 26 and have received nothing thus far and all my attempts to correspond with them have gone unanswered. I did use their "free shipping" option, which is supposed to use regular mail and according to their site could take 15-30 days to arrive. But were now at more than six weeks. I'm debating whether to go to my credit card company and dispute the charge. However, the research I've done on the Web says that this is a pretty good company with a pretty good rep. I don't mind so much if it takes a little longer to arrive (already waited this long), but I just want to know it's coming! Anybody have any experience with these guys? Thanks! Mark |

When the tea finally arrived, the magnificent packaging made me feel like I was a receiving a package not from just a far off place but also from a far off time!! So I would second Shen's "Hold on" suggestion. |

This is my first time ordering something directly from India, so I really just have no idea whether this kind of delay is normal or not. As of today, it's been about 47 days since I placed the order. Do you know how long it usually takes for mail to get from India to the US? Is this normal? Based on other responses, I'm guessing I should just wait for now. I've never heard of anyone NOT getting their order from them, but delays do seem to be the norm. As Shen pointed out, there are a lot of hurdles between here and there. Let me know if you think 47 days is longer than normal. If so, I'll be glad to take you up on your offer! Thanks again. Mark |
