I dont think tea taste good with spicy foods. When you add flavorings to tea it becomes something else. Normally it means you are trying to hide something like the tea may be stale. Concoctions like chai and bubble tea are flavored with tea. I like chai with spicy foods because the milk coats the spicy taste similar to adding milk to temper the harshness of an english breakfast tea. I like shu puer with heavy meals because it acts as a 'grease' cutter. Jim PS If an Indian buffet doesnt throw in the chai as gratis I pass. > TEA TAKES IN ALL SPICES: > > It tastes good as raw and also entertains nice with milk, sugar, > ginger, cardamom and other spices.
