I've finally opened a year-old packet. From Upton, it has the Ralston
taste of the Ten-Ren TGY tea I had a few years back. That makes it
feel like a breakfast tea, but I really want something sharper in a
tea for breakfast. It's tentatively on my afternoon tea schedule.

I have an old can of Russian Caravan by Mariage Freres which is
delightful for breakfast with a touch of condensed milk.

I try to stay away from very smoky teas. There's a bit in the
archives here about Tzar Alexandre, and also Russian Caravan, and also
quite a lot about TGY. Toci
