I was in World Market yesterday and saw a couple of different gongfu
sizes around $8. Imagine tapping one of those the wrong way. The main problem was the infuser with barely noticeable slits. I could tell from the cleft lip spout pouring was designed to be gentle. I bought a Cambric size tea cup with a pot that sits on the top like the smaller Beehives. Same price made of porcelain with a metallic infuser which might be a tad small for the size pot. I got six small white expresso cups with matching saucers which come in a stacking tower. A nice compact serving set. I would have bit on the Kyusu if they were in original shipping boxes like the other two. Just more boxes of teaware in the corner. Bodum never stops with another infuser. They make one that looks like it would work with my tall deep Yixing mugs. It came in a craddle that slips onto the side of the mug. They make a battery powered milk frother. Ill just use a whisk when I make Cambric tea. Jim |
