Default Neat new tea kettle - Vessel One

I came across this today and really liked it for a number of reasons,
I made a more general purpose post on teasphere (http://
teasphere.wordpress.com/2009/04/06/vessel-one-cool-new-teapot-design/)
- not plugging, there is just no way to post pictures here easily and
in this case one is easily worth a thousand words - but I thought it
might be something to pass by here to discuss more of the design/
usefulness angle and to get other's thoughts. Basically the Vessel One
is a vase-sorta-looking-thing that is enamel coated stainless on the
bottom and silicone neck so that it can go right on the burner, you
can grab it by the neck then and set it onto a matched magnetic trivet/
coaster thing and go right to service.

Obviously there is margin for error in the grabbing a just off the
burner teapot with a very hot metal base and sides and face/genital
scalding contents inside on a fairly narrow band of silicone, but
outside of that I think it is pretty cool. It would pour well (like
the little glass similar shaped ones in restaurants), the only thing
it would lack is a loud whistle which I'm fine with. I'd be interested
in hearing other thoughts/input if anyone else here is into design/art/
contemporary style.
