Ill add another one to the list, Xin Yang (Hunnan) Mao Jian. The dry
aroma is like alcohol. The infused leaf is like sparrow tongue. Bud so small I cant imagine how hard it is to pick. The aroma reminds me of boiling an egg. The taste reminds me of boil okra I had the other night. All in all grotty greens brings up memories of childhood in the South where if it was a green leaf it was consumed. Jim PS I like putting my two cents worth in on teas that have been mentioned here in the past. Im convinced there is no such thing as tea taste, only what one brings to the table. I dont know but I would say Sotomayor is a tea drinker. |
