Why would you want to scent these Tawian leaves probably TGY with
Pomegranite or anything else. http://i37.tinypic.com/28bsoz8.jpg Someone cant stand the taste of tea except if something added which they also must like. It doesnt show up here but these are some of the better looking leaves Ive seen from Taiwan in awhile which also grates on my tea sensibility. The subject of tea reading came up at Sundays Puer tasting. I am familiar with the Gypsy ritual. However I dont know why. Was it because they had access to tea not readily available anywhere else because of their travels. Or was there a time in Indo European history where people were intimately connected to tea. I dont see that as much of a stretch because in a way tea can make choices for you. Jim PS I like looking my tea leaves in the eye when I drink. |

I had always thought there was a quasi-science behind reading tea leaves and then when I asked a guy once he basically said "you look at the dregs and if you see a horse, a heart, or whatever, you then interpret that how you like" I had wanted so much more to be to it. ![]() I have a few flavored teas that I think enhance/transform the tea, jasmine green, osmanthus oolong, blackberry/sage black tea, ginger/ peach black tea, and earl grey. Pomegranate is not one of those flavors that translates well beyond the real, fresh, item. But it is trendy. - Dominic |
