Chocolate and chili, tea and cheese...
Just finished a mug of strong Keemun with a little milk and a pinch of chipotle. Very nice - I'm going to try this again with a Lapsang. Thanks for the inspiration! Good by itself, and a dandy complement to a breakfast of dried figs and sharp cheddar. I somehow discovered years ago that this combination makes a magical transformation in the mouth. The cheese has to be aired well; I slice it thin and leave it out for a few hours or even a couple of days. -DM (Glinka's "Traveling Song"; Soviet Army Chorus) |
