Hi,
I've been drinking a lot of oolong tea lately, mainly from Taiwan. Noted some benefits related to weight loss and drinking oolong tea on this site: http://www.oolongtea.org/e/health/04.html "Polyphenol in oolong tea is effective in controlling obesity. Specifically speaking, it activates the enzyme that is responsible for dissolving triglyceride. It has been confirmed that the continuous intake of oolong tea contributes to enhancing the function of fat metabolism and to controlling obesity." Does anyone have more information on whether lightly oxidized or heavily oxidized oolongs are better for weight loss? Or does it not matter? Thanks. Winston |

Or does it not matter? lightly oxidized tea gives you just about the same advantages for the health as green tea does. but don't expect a miracle. drinking tea is good for you as long as you don't eat junkfood or too much, exercice a little (min=4Km/day walk)... well you know the story... a good way of life... I think one should drink tea for the taste of it, rather than for the health benefits... but they are welcome of course... : ) |
