Hello Melinda,

Right now I would suggest you try golden tippy teas from Assam. We
have gone into the Rains (third flush) for the last month or so.
However, I haven't seen Assam second flush crop hit the US retailers'
stores as yet. I am assuming that like mine, their second flush teas
are on high seas too. I am expecting mine to land here in
end-september.

If you like slow brewing and creamier teas, I would suggest a whole
leaf like FTGFOP or GFOP. If you want something to get you excited and
rejuvinated, I definately suggest SFTGFOP1.

Dooars (name of a tea growing region) lies at the foothills of the
Eastern Himalayas, just before the start of the Darjeeling district.
The best Dooars teas I have tasted, tastes like badly processed Darj.
and the worst has been inferior than commercial Cachar teas. Dooars
will be interesting to you if you are a volume buyer, interested to
get best pricing for a few containers of North Indian tea, and looking
for the best pricing.
But if you are looking for self-drinking teas, Dooars isn't worth your
time (IMO).
