Default Can anyone recommend...

Can anyone recommend a tea shop anywhere from southern Vermont to
Albany or Troy, NY or north-western Mass.?

I'm looking for the lighter variety of dark oolongs, like TenRen's Bai
Hao. Just found out I am having a small gathering this Saturday and
need to get more tea and gong-fu tea cups...

Thanks!

When I lived in Troy, I found nothing.

Pretty much what I've gathered too, figured it was worth a shot to ask.

Luckily I'm visiting Manhattan on Thursday, though I don't think I'll
have any time to actually go down to Chinatown.

Then you might check to see what Wild LIly has to offer over in Chelsea.
(there may even be a website) There's also Takashimaya in midtown east, but
who knows what they may have, and it may be pricey.

I don't know many spots outside of Chinatown.

This is the best I can do. http://www.catteacorner.com/teatime.htm
How good any of these places are, I don't know- but Lenox might have some
good teas at some of the gourmet supermarkets. Also try the area around
Canaan NY- I think there's a few gourmet places in Chatham.
