A good title for a zombie or vampire book set in India but a tea
shoppe owner called Theodosia in Charleston SC solves crimes of
murder. This is the tenth in the Tea Shop Mystery series by Laura
Childs I got in the bargain bin. I picked this up locally after
visiting Charleston so the connection is happenchance. I learned
something about desirable collectible teapots. There is mention of
lots of different teas and accompanying English style finger fare.
The Indigo Tea Shoppe also has a chef and a tea master. Reservations
are a must. Other than that mischaracterization the rest of the book
held up quiet well. I recognized some of the locale from the little
time I was there. It would make a good tour book. The author
spends a lot of time in Japan and China according to the bio. I dont
know if there is a Charleston connection perse. I have pouches of
pouchong but I am sure none of it is Grand and Dilmah is a brand and
not a style. Thats the only criticism I have about the teas in the
book. This series is like the teas I drink, only if I come across
them at the right price. My one curiosity is if she repeats herself
about teas. She wouldnt have too.
