Default spice icetea

The outer colored peel of oranges or lemons, rich in natural oils, is
chilled with the spiced tea mixture. Sweeten, if desired, with a
touch
of brown sugar.
Ingredients:
•1 lemon
•1orange
•6 cups boiling water
•5 tea bags
•12 whole cloves
•2 cinnamon sticks
•Ice cubes
•Brown sugar, to taste (optional)
Instructions: (Makes 6 servings)
•With a vegetable parer, peel each lemon or orange in a continuous
spiral, removing the outer colored layer of peel only. (Save the
fruit
for other uses.)
•Pour the boiling water over the tea bags, spices, and peel. Cover
and
steep for 5 minutes.
•Remove the tea bags and spices; chill the tea mixture with peel. To
serve, remove the peel and serve the tea over ice.
•Sweeten to taste and serve with cinnamon stick stirrers, if desired.
