Default Kyela Teas

Hi all,

There has been some recent mention of Kyela Teas here. I'd never heard of
them, and have been checking out their website. The few words said so far in
the group seem pretty positive, but I have at least one concern from what
I've seen. Kyela has quite a few First Flush teas from *2003*, which I
believe makes them around 1.5 years old. And they're still charging a fair
amount of money for many of them. This to me doesn't seem promising at all,
though of course they also have a number of interesting-looking 2004s.

So, can people with experience with Kyela make any comments or
recommendations?

Thanks.

Doug

Doug,

I ordered his 2003 teas last year and the 2004 this. Both were excellent.
I did not buy any 2003 tea this year, so I cannot tell you how they've aged
relative to last year's purchases.

Regards,
Dean

Just tried (for the 1st time) to place an order with Kyela Teas:

But when I filled in my email address on the online order form,
my order was not accepted (the email address I gave was flagged).
And when I blanked out the email address on the form, my order
again was not accepted ('no email address' was flagged).

I thought commercial establishments WANTED customers. Kyela
Teas, however, has decided to reject me - even though I told
them the truth about what email address I use.

Sorry, Kyela Teas -- you have just lost a customer.

Mikus,

I have observed numerous bugs in the Kyela website. You can try to contact
Kevin at and describe the problem.
