Spotted the following in a USA Today article
Susanne M. Henning UCLA researcher and colleagues tested 20 tea brands and found antioxidant variations were great. The top 10 of these teas were 1. Celestial Seasonings Authentic Green Tea 2. Bigelow Green Tea 3. Uncle Lee's Green Tea 4. Lipton Black Tea 5. Salada Earl Green Tea 6. Lipton Green Tea 7. Wissotzky Earl Grey 8. Bigelow English Teatime 9. Bigelow Darjeeling Blend 10. Swee-Touch-Nee Black Tea Most likely, these are just popular tea bag brands. Too bad white tea wasn't included in the study. Tried to locate this report on the web but only came up with the following study http://www.healthnews.ws/index.aspx?id=2085 which is mostly of interest to guys. Anybody have a credible anti-oxidant ranking for loose teas? |
