Hi

Hi, I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Marlene, and I love tea. I
was an ehrstwhile member of TeaMail, till I got banned for some reason
that was never explained to me. So, here I am. I'm fairly new to tea,
so I'll probobly be lurking mostly, and when I do post it'll be
questions, you can count on it!
I probobly would have joined much sooner, but my IP doesn't have
newsgroups service. So I finaly found this on google! Yay!
Thanks for listening!
Marlene

TeaMail does suck. They didn't allow me to join in the first place.
Bunch of paranoid neurotics, surely.

Welcome.

You might consider signing up with news.individual.net. It's free
access to newsgroups (except binaries). And you can use the newsreader
of your choice rather than Google's annoying (IMO) interface.

Hi Marlene--I was just thinking of you the other day and wondering if
you knew about RFDT. It's pretty active over here, hope you enjoy!

Don't feel bad -- it happens to the best of us. If your posts to
Teamail venture beyond talk of cow creamers, bananaberry tea, and
triple chocolate fudge scone recipes, you risk banishment. It's
not a place for serious discussion. When it comes to tea, in the
words of one Teamail member, most of them are just looking for a
relaxing day away from the kids.

Yeah, I wrote her several times. I tried to join under another ID, a
friend of mine tried to join, another friend asked on the list, and got
no answer either. It's been a frustrating, annoying, and hurtful
experince.
I didn't spam, no one was using my address for spam.
I didn't offend (at least I don't think so)
I hadn't posted in 2+ weeks, so that excuse doesn't make sense anyway.
It wasn't becaus I was inactive. There are 1500+ people on that list,
and if they were all active, there would be a lot more mail.
My address wasn't bouncing.
So all I'm left with is that someone had a vendetta. I don't even know
these people though, so how can they want to 'get' me?
All in all, it doesn't make much sense. I gave up.
I'm glad you guys are here. Y'all seem much freindlier.
Marlene

Ya know, if that list is for tearoom owners...it makes me not want to go to
those sorts of tea rooms, because who wants to go to a tea room where the
propriator is sooo fragile that they can't deal with bumps or even
criticism? Seems like a very uptight sort of person to me, not really a tea
person at all...my two cents.
