Darjeeling experiences

Hi,
I already tried to ask this yesterday but then another blackout struck
(the 3d that day).
Just curious if anyone of you has been in Darjeeling and if yes how did
you like it ?
What´s your personal favorite Darjeeling of this years harvests, any
luck with a 1st flush ?

I've been there, and I loved it. I posted a lot to RFDT about it,
which you can find on Google Groups by searching for "tea pilgrimage".

I had some delightful experiences with Avongrove and Rohini first
manufactures, which were a gift from the garden management. Haven't
tried any others this year.

I drink Darjeelings almost exclusively. I get Makaibari plantation products
from

http://www.silvertipstea.com/

I used to drink Lipton's Green Label or Brooke Bond's Supreme, available at
your local Indian grocery store..
