USA: Whole Foods stocks PG Tips, ToH Yorkshire Gold, ToH Scottish Breakfast

For anyone in the USA who has a Whole Foods supermarket I went shopping
in one today and noticed they are stocking PG Tips 40ct and 80ct boxes,
Taylors of Harrogate Yorkshire Gold 40ct box, Taylors of Harrogate
Scottish Breakfast.

Is PG tips hard to find in some places? We have stores called "Giant
Eagle" and Wegmans that both carry these teas in every little
neighborhood in western PA. PG tips is a decent tea, but I never really
get into it... how is Taylors of Harrogate? I see that on the shelf but
they want a fortune for it and I can get pretty high quality tea for
the money so I pass it up all the time.

The three ToH teas I've had I liked; Gold, Red, and Scottish Breakfast.
I bought a 50ct box of SB for $5.99, the Yorkshire Gold 40ct box was
$5.49. PG Tips 40ct was $4.99 and $7.99 for 80ct. Not bad pricing
considering this other tea shop in town sells the same Yorkshire Gold
box for $8.99. Personally I think ToH is better than PG Tips but I
usually end up buying PG Tips most of the time.

PG Tips is getting easier to find. My local Albertsons carries it now,
along with Lyons and Barry's. However, it's cheaper to buy it in bulk
online. I like Taylors Yorkshire Gold, but it is a bit pricy to drink
on a regular basis. The Yorkshire Red was a little weak for my taste.
I think PG Tips is better than Yorkshire Red. I would like to try
Taylors Scottish Breakfast sometime.

I have not seen any of these teas at my local Whole Foods yet. I'll
have to keep an eye out for them.

BTW, for those of you who like PG Tips, try Brooke Bond Taj Mahal. It
is available in Indian grocery stores, tastes almost exactly the same,
but its much, much cheaper. I went to buy some last night. They had a
buy one, get one free special. I got 2 boxes of 144 tea bags for
$3.99. It would have cost me at least $30 to get that amount of PG
Tips.

Funny thing, I love indian food and my local restaurant has an indian
grocery next door and I have a decent sized box of Taj Mahal loose tea
I got for $2.99 and you are spot on. It is very very close to PG Tips
and much cheaper, it's been a while since I've drank the Taj Mahal and
I forgot all about it until you brought that up! Thanks, I just ran out
of PG Tips at work today.

I stopped by my local Whole Foods today and was disappointed. The only
teas that they had were Twinings, Celestial Seasonings, and Republic of
Tea - and one or two minor brands I'd never heard of before. I was
hoping to find some Yorkshire Gold, but perhaps it's just as well. I
ended up buying some Lipton Yellow Label from the Indian grocery
instead and I think I've found a new favorite that is much cheaper than
YG.
