I've bought from him a number of times. He's an honest seller with some
very nice teas. His Imperial Yunnan gold tips black tea is lovely (a very smooth and rich tea and sort of creamy) and his super premium loose leaf green wild pu-erh tea is also very nice. (this has a fresh taste, which to me tastes somewhat different from the other green pu-erh teas I've tried). My only problems have been with occasional slow parcels from China - but I blame that on the mail system rather than the seller. Otherwise I've always got everything I've ordered. Know what you are doing before ordering older puerhs from him, or anyone else for that matter. Pricing on older puerh is crazy these days and many fakes abound. -- Mike Petro http://www.pu-erh.net |

I have some Big Red Robe as well which I like (I haven't seen it for sale
locally) but the mao feng doesn't really appeal to me. Like all tea, what one person likes another will loathe. Its a very individual thing - and a lot of these teas can't be bought from other sellers locally for a real comparison. I ordered some pu-erhs from Scott's Yunnan Sourcing a few months ago.
He is very honest, and I certainly recommend him. --k |
