Pardon the interruption.
I would like to share our new website with all rec.food.tea tea lovers: http://www.GreatTearoomsOfAmerica.com Once there, feel free to take a moment to read about the American tearoom, learn more about us in the FAQ section, browse our listings, add a listing, etc. We also offer free "behind-the-scenes" resources to tearoom owners. More information can be found on the website. Hope to see you soon! Denise Great Tearooms of America ~ a premier online tearoom directory http://www.GreatTearoomsOfAmerica.com |

This looks like it _could_ be a good site. Nice convenient interface
with links to tea rooms in each state. But when I clicked on Wisconsin, all the links were blank. They had no more information than a phone book. Best, Rick. Thank you for visiting the website, Rick.
If you click on the "More info" link on each one, you will be taken to that tearooms' individual listing. We have provided basic information there for each tearoom: name, address, email, website - the tearoom owner is then encouraged to add a personal description and photographs, and many already have. (We'll have to get those Wisconsin tearoom owners away from their cash registers long enough to complete their listings!) :-) We just launched GToA on Tuesday (May 1), and consider it a work in progress. While some listings right now contain no more information than a phone book, over time we hope that all of them will be "claimed" and further enhanced by their owners. Tearooms come and go and are added to and deleted from our database every day (thanks to visitor's contributions), making the guide as current as possible ...that's a service the Yellow Pages can't offer! And the tearoom listings are only half of what we offer - registered tearoom owners have access to loads of free "behind-the-scenes" resources (newsletters, etc.). :-) Thanks for your feedback!
