Double-brewed iced tea
I picked up a salad for lunch in a restaurant that is in the same
building as my office. They sell a lot of coffee (and tea) to go. On the menu board, they were advertising that their iced teas were "double-brewed". What, exactly, does this mean? |

I don't know for certain, but I suspect it means it is brewed very strong - with maybe twice as much leaf as you would use for hot tea. I think the idea is that when it is served on ice, the melting ice will cut the tea down to something closer to normal strength. Randy |
