Default Any vegan cookery courses out there?

'Lo all

(For those of you who've been regulars on here for over 18 months,
'hello again from the Capybara')

I'm doing some research and am trying to find out whether there are
any vegan cookery courses available in adult education colleges, or
similar. I'm thinking of setting up such a course and want to know
what is out there already.

Anyone come across such a course? If so, when and where?

Yipee! Ronny is back.
I was just thinking about you the other day. I think you're the first to
suggest Miso and Tahini on toast.
Hope you hang around, I'll have cake questions soon.

My local veggie group ( The Vegetarian Society Of The District Of
Columbia - vsdc.org ) has the "Eat Smart" program, but that doesn't help
you living across the pond .

Nice to see some of the 'old guard' back. Now, if only Mr. Falafel would
return.

For ideas of what you might want to incorporate into such a course, try the site
for the (mostly vegan) Natural Gourmet Cookery School in New York.
http://www.naturalgourmetschool.com/pubclasssched.htm

Click on the course whose title interests you for the course description
(generally includes the names of recipes the class will cover). Unfortunately,
some of this season's offerings include poultry, which was not the case before.
Even so, you can get a good idea of class offerings and structure.

You probably know about:
The Cordon Vert Cookery School
Parkdale, Dunham Rd., Altincham
Cheshire, WA14 4QG, England
(44) 61 928 0793
http://www.vegsoc.org/cordonvert/

They may be willing to provide you with course outlines for their curriculum.

Mr F? Gone??? Nooooooooooooo!

Thanx for all your suggestions. I'm aware of the 'Cordon Vert' school,
but what I'm curious about is conventional colleges offering such
courses as part of their general prospectus.
