Apparitions roam vicious in intent
Making me believe, holding me captive

My world is dark and cold
It's always black as night
The only light that I see is that which
trickles threw the fog of black Cloud
I sit on a tree stump and look out into the mist
Watching it crate shapes of abominable horrors that
Only appear in the darkest reaches of my mind
Dead trees surround me
Their branches reach for the sky and at me
As if seeking salvation from there mere existence
