My experience with homeopathic medicine. I was in my fifties a 30+ year
vegetarian and had a hard time passing water. Went to my allopathic doctor, who was great-he kept giving me different medicines to try relieve an infection in bladder tubes. this went on for about 6 weeks. Finally I went to my wives homeopathic doctor and he prescribed some little white pills-he had them in his office-he gave me a dose-and I did not feel any difference. When I got home I passed water pretty good. it got better and better. It has now been about 5 years and occasionally I slow down and have to take a dose of that homeopathic remedy.. For what it is worth-not being able to pass water was the worse thing in my life. This is a true experience I know homeopathic medicine works because it was night and day-either I passed water or not.. Michael |

Are you sure it's not an herbal preparation like saw palmetto? > For what it is worth-not being able to pass water was the worse thing in my > life. > This is a true experience I know homeopathic medicine works because it was > night and day-either I passed water or not.. Anecdotal. When homeopathy is put to the rigors of the scientific method, it fails to show anything more than a placebo effect. And why should it show more since it's only sugar pills? |

I see that it's recommended by one homeopathy site for: Buzzing in ears, deafness; chronic gout; epistaxis; prostatic troubles. http://tinyurl.com/d4z5z IOW, it's a cure-all and works head (epistaxis) to toe (gout). Consumers Union concluded: Unless the laws of chemistry have gone awry, most homeopathic remedies are too diluted to have any physiological effect....CU's medical consultants believe that any system of medicine embracing the use of such remedies involves a potential danger to patients whether the prescribers are MDs, other licensed practitioners, or outright quacks. http://atheism.about.com/library/glo...homeopathy.htm > It was so obvious- I think it's pretty obvious, too. Homeopathy uses such small doses that for practical purposes the doses are zero. That's nothing. Nothing is better than allopathy. So, try nothing. Perhaps nothing plus pacebo effect. |

I meant to write you last week to tell you I was only going up to the Metroplex for a day-trip (more like half-day-trip with a whole day of driving), so no chance to get together. I'll let you know when I'm up that way again. |

Cool, I am living in a condo-and should move next month to this house I bought about 1/2 block from Kalachanjis' .. condo is about 1 mile from Kalachandji's.. by the way many many people don't believe in Homeopathy-such small doses etc... |

Homeopathy is a scam. I am a California guy-but did not really think homeopathy worked...I like all the "new age" stuff--My wife liked homeopathy-as part of the marriage I let her go and paid for it..then she had me go-I had no expectation except a $bill-well I was as surprised as anyone that it worked so well... and took care of my problem... |

Just wait until you are married-if you enjoy an independent thinker smart type-that is what you get, ie she does stuff you don't agree with...and that is part of why she is and independent smart thinker.. I guess you can't have it both ways..... > > > then she had me go- > > I would've put both feet down on that. > > > I had no expectation except a $bill- > > And you got one. For sugar pills. |

What did the tablets contain apart from the picrate of iron diluted to
the point of theoretical irrelevance? Is it possible that, by a lucky coincidence, one of these other ingredients was exactly what you needed? |
