You can recycle a coffee can that'll fit in your slow cooker and save a few bucks. I don't drink coffee, but neighbors have always generously donated their old empty cans when asked. I've only tried crockpot bread once and it was okay -- very crusty. Cooking bread the traditional way doesn't take as long, though. Below link is for crockpot bread from frozen loaf.
