Default FAQ Site Technical Changes

I have made some slight technical changes to the the site that may not
be of much interest to most, but I thought that I should mention them.
As stated earlier, the site will now always be at
http://www.cwdjr.info/wine/FAQ.php. The version number is mentioned in
a comment in the code. I have also put redirects on the server so that
all earlier versions are sent to this new address. The reason is that
we have had about 500 hits to the site for the first 9 days of October
and google bots have been active, so the URL needs to be stable. If you
get redirected, the back arrow may not work, so you should change your
bookmark(favorite) to that for the new URL.

There is a feedback paragraph at the bottom of the main page. I give
instructions to send feedback to alt.food.wine and give a google link
and tell how to easily post at Google if someone is not set up for
Usenet groups. I could put a CGI feedback form on the page to my
domain. However this can attract tons of spam, and CGI is a favorite
method to send a virus to a server. Thus I have CGI turned off at the
server.

The first two clickable icons at the bottom of the page show that the
site validates properly at the W3C for the code used. The bottom line
shows that the site has been checked for various levels of
accessibility as specified by international and US standards. Thus the
blind likely will be able to read the page with some of their special
audio equipment. I do not have such equipment. However recent Opera
browsers will speak a page if you add a special extension from Opera
available only in English and for recent Windows OSs. The voice sounded
a bit mechanical, but it was fairly good. However it has to spell out
some non-English words and makes a few funny blunders on other words.
It also spoke something like 3l. as 3 liters! - not perfect yet, but
much better than I would have thought possible a few years ago.
