Default Chteau de Mercues - Cahors

Does anyone know of a UK importer for Chateau de Mercues? Google
hasn't produced anything of use so far.

I had a bottle of the 1989 at dinner with friends last night and I'm
beginning to see what the fuss about Cahors was. I'd had too many that
were frankly disappointing to be over enthusiastic about it
beforehand.

It was big, but it had integrated beautifully and was redolent of
proper liquorice and a little of violet.

I have bought Mercues from Majestic in the past. Some six months back
they had a clearance of 1989 Mercues (if I remember right 6 or 7 quid a
bottle), they may have some bottles from that still available...

Cheers

Many thanks.

I've had a look at the Majestic website and it all seems to be gone.
Hardly a surprise at the price :-(
