I'm hosting a chess tournament with friends, and would like to buy a
bottle of wine for about $20 or less which has a name that's related to the game of chess. The purchase is not, of course, so much about ending up with a marvelous bottle of wine, as it is to find a gift with a name related to chess. So something with the words like Queen, King, Castle, or Knight would all be suitable. Any recommendations? Once I have some names, I may inquire at my local retailer. Thanks in advance. |

There's a Paso Robles winery called Bishop's Peak, too. |

Bishop's Peak is made by Talley Vineyards and I prefer the "Rock Solid Red" which is primarily a blend of Cab and Syrah and it sells for about $10. |

Perhaps the defense was a bit better lubricated than you were, Jim? ;-) Or perhaps the alcohol lowered your inhibitions just enough to take that finesse despite "eight ever, nine never"?
