Default TN: Salvino Toscana Rosso 2004 (Podere Erbolo)

AFW's own Filippo was kind enough to send me this bottle to try. In
spite of the various barriers erected by international shipping it has
been resting here now for a couple of months.

Nice brilliant ruby colour, with a bright nose of cherries and some herbs. In
the mouth a solid cherry core with solid acidity and vanilla overtones. Good
length and balance, and a good match for chicken livers with port sauce.

A fine bargain for a nice wine from the Chianti geographical region. I look
forward to getting a case or so in for the cellar.

Thanks Filippo!
