One of our local discounters has the 2007 vintage of this for EUR 7.99.
I could just buy a bottle and try it, but thought I would ask if anyone
has had this or at least is familiar with the producer.

Thanks in advance,

Dave

This is not a label sold in NZ - obviously a generic export only label.

If it is *cheap* - then it will be "cheap" wine, varietally correct, but
without many redeeming features.

I was afraid of that.

Well, it is well above the 2.99 that most wines go for at the discount
chains, but is certainly less than my current favorite, Seresin.

I'll post my best effort at notes after trying it.
