Young and old
When I consume wines...I notice a trend.
Most of my California wines I prefer in their youth....(Cab/Chard) My french Bordeau and Burg I perfer with at least 10 years of age...maybe 20. Oregon Pinot in decent vintages I find at best 5 years after vintage. Thats about it on generalizations. Recent Purchases: Black Bart Syrah, Stagecoach Vineyard 2006. from Krupp family Martinello Zio Toni Chard 2006 El Molino Chard 2006 and 2007 HDV Wines....Syrah, Cab Merlot and Chardonney...three different bottlings. Gotta keep the economy going!!! |
