Default TN: one more- 2007 Pernot

Sunday I had gone to Stew Leonards for the beef and other supplies for
the following day's party. Lobsters were on sale for $4.99 a pound, so
I got two for dinner that night. Served with asparagus, corn, and the
2007 Paul Pernot Puligny-Montrachet. Just a lovely village level wine,
pure and clean. Crisp pear fruit, a little lemon curd, just a hint of
oak. Good acidity, nice finish, some mineral notes. I'd really like to
see this with some age, but with the current state of white Burgundy
aging, I'm going to drink my other one soon and take no chances. B+/A-

Grade disclaimer: I'm a very easy grader, basically A is an excellent
wine, B a good wine, C mediocre. Anything below C means I wouldn't
drink at a party where it was only choice. Furthermore, I offer no
promises of objectivity, accuracy, and certainly not of consistency.*
