I've been using wine stores to make wine for me for several years
now. I've tried many different types and have experimented with adjusting oak and tannins to the cabs and shirazes. They have been ok wines to drink. Problem is I've been trying many different reds from the vintage section and have found the homemade wines are now no match what so ever for the taste of these wines. Anyone else go through the same thing: the make your own wine route then store bought wines to find that they have difficulty going back to the homemade versions? Interested in your experiences, Larry Stumpf, S. Ontario, Canada |
