You're saying a particular wine has a higher than average TCA problem? I guess
there's 2 possibilities if that's the case:
a substandard cork selection process - while there's no way to eliminate cork
taint, it seems conscientious selection can reduce the odds a bit.
or, more likely,
a systemic infection at the winery, such as happened with a few CA places (most
notably the aging room for BV's top reds for the '97-'99 vintages).

Noticed your email address. Which restaurant do you work for? The myriad group
has some of my faves (Nobu, Montrachet despite the "only" 2 star rating last
week).

Any wine in the world which is bottled under cork closures can have cork
problem.

It's slightly unfair IMO to single out any one or other winemaker or wine.
