Default Hill Country wines

I was in Austin so I thought we would give the Fredericksburg wine trail a try. Went to 5 wineries most so so to just bad. William Chris in Hye had the best wines, even bought one but that was the end of the trail. Pedernales, while had a few good wines was way overpriced for what they had. Becker is known but was only so so and Texas Hills and Torre di Pietro were terrible mostly undrinkable but still some impressive prices. Not sure I will try again unless someone knows some decent wineries.
