![]() My wife is Italian from the Fuili venezie guilie region. I'm not a fan of the type of wine they make there (but the neighbour region does - amarone). What they do make thats nice here is dessert wines of the late harvest type. Most common is Picolit. Which is a sweet white wine, dried to raisins either off stalk or on stalk, and oaked. A more interesting type form here is Ramandolo, which is creamier and less sweet than picolit.
