Default I received Grgich Cabernet Sauv. as a gift. I don t like wine:-(

Well, I was thinking about either gifting it back , or reselling it. For that,
I need some advices on the quality of this wine. Year on the bottle is 1999 ( I
have 3), and 2000 ( I have 3)

Is it worth maybe keeping is a investment?

They are all Cabernet Sauvignon.

Thanks for your help

"1999 Grgich Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley - This year was perfect for
Cabernet. Made from perfectly mature grapes, this has deep blackberry
and chocolate flavors with soft tannins. There are not many other wines
I'd buy for this price. - $50"

If its retail it is probably about $10-15 (very roughly) more than you
would get for it from a wine buyer. Also the article is over 1 year old,
so the price may be higher now.

I'm not sure about 2000 for the Napa Valley, so can't even guestimate a
figure. I am very sure there are others here who will be able to fill
you in much better than I ever could.

As for not liking wine you will almost certainly find if you keep trying
wine, especially with well judged food matches, you will find something
you really like.

A lot of ppl make the mistake of judging all wine on a small sample,
which is like saying you don't like food because you don't like
grapefruit, apple, banana and brocolli. Also, a lot of ppl buy cheap
nasty wine and judge all wine on low end trash.
