Apropos a Eric Solomon
So I was looking at the good deals on French wines at the local Wine
Warehouse and I came upon a bottle of Mercurey premier cru 2000 Clos des Combins L Menand Pere et Fils Pale in color, think very dark rose, good acidity but watery and without much in the way of nose. A well preserved over the hill baby. I was hoping maybe a little air would help, but don't think it is going to happen, Eric might have picked this one, but I hope he wouldn't pick "this" this one. |
