Shopping the Niagara Wine Route today to stock the cellar for summer
tipples' Chateau Des Charmes - Case lot of Gamay Droit - A new Canadian vinefera varietal combining the best of Gamay and the barnyard of a good Pinot Noir. First tasted this at the Ontario wine club meeting this past winter and waited anxiously for the new release of this lovely drink. Cave Spring Cellars - Case and a half of their most elegant and crispy 2004 Rosé; Half case of their 04 Chardonnay Reserve - Fruity with a nice acid balance, medium mouth feel and moderately long finish Peninsula Ridge Cellars - Case lot of Sauvignon Blanc - Lots of well balance lime/lemon citrus, with a lively middle and clean crisp finish. This should get us through........ end of July??? Lotsa luck. -- Regards Chuck So much wine; So little time! To reply, delete NOSPAM from return address -- Regards Chuck So much wine; So little time!
