Hello All,
The wife and I are spending some anniversary time in Niagara-on-the-Lake on the weekend of July 9/10, and we are wanting some touring/tasting recommendations for about 4-5 wineries while we're there. Anyone want to suggest the stand-outs? (I have some ideas, however I'm looking for new suggestions/validations, etc.). Cheers, - Ian |

Sweet Petuti; where to start.
Lailie; just south of NOTL along the Parkway right across from the McFarland House. Cave Spring Cellars; in Jordan Station... exit the QEW at Jordan 1st exit East of Vineland. Chateau des Charmes; exit QEW at White Oaks just East of the St. Catharines skyway and turn right at York Road. Don't miss their Gamay "Droit". Peninsula Ridge; Exit the QEW at the Bartlet Road exit on the East end of Grimsby, turn left at Rte 81. Jackson-Triggs; Near NOTL,a great ultramodern winery to tour and their Delaney vineyard wines are not to be missed. I'v missed a lot of other wineries but these are my current A list. Good luck. -- Regards Chuck So much wine; So little time! To reply, delete NOSPAM from return address "I/C TARRANT" > wrote in message . .. Especially when they have the Gamay Reserve in stock. Think Jordan turnoff is just before the N. on L. exit. Sounds like a great weekend. Larry |
