Do you mean on a restaurant wine list? I think most of the 1sts are in
the $400-500 range at retail (the Latour is often a bit more than others, but I don't know that's the case for 2000 - I know Margaux probably is at premium). Figure twice or more on a restaurant list. Though who the hell would order immature almost certainly shut-down 1sts at a restaurant. |

It's especially tragic when they order it to accompany carefully prepared and delicately flavored food, but de gustibus and all that... Mark Lipton |
