Default Wine atlas?

Hi all,

Does anybody know of sites that have maps of wine regions, highlighting
the regions and terroirs? Sort of like the Wine Atlas but online.

Thanks,
Max

This is my favourite

And for some very detailed burgundy maps, see these notes

Smaller countries are unfortunately not listed. Countries such as
Greece, Malta, Cyprus, etc.

They do make good wine and I was wondering if any info for such
countries is available.

We've got some Austrian wine region maps on our site, with the various
vineyard sites marked on the more detailed maps.
Main Austria map:
http://www.winemonger.com/catalog/co...ountries_id=14

Burgenland:
http://www.winemonger.com/catalog/re...p?region_id=46

Styria:
http://www.winemonger.com/catalog/re...p?region_id=48

Wachau:

Note that you can zoom in on the maps to see the various sites better.

For Austria? http://www.winesfromaustria.com is a great resource.
You will have to dig around a bit though to get the information but
there is masses there.

If only the marketing bodied of other countries/regions were as
helpful!

There are less than 3 ha of Sauvignon in the Wachau, but over 5 ha
of Muskateller, over 20 ha of Frühroter Veltliner.

Rote_r_ Veltliner

The most prominent, to be found almost exclusively here, are
missing: Zierfandler (= Spätrot) and Rotgipfler.

Add Roter Veltliner

M.
P.S.: Note that spelling is "Gr_ü_ner Veltliner". (If you're in
the Windows word, hold [alt] key and type 0252 on the numeric
pad.). If you can't, then it's written "Gruener Veltliner".
