Celebrity cruise line apparently has their own vineyards or so they say
and they feature their wines on their cruises. Since I am taking one was
just wondering if this is truly theirs or just a vanity type of thing
where they label someone else's wines with their names? The list Russian
River for their Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc and Dry Creek for the
Cabernet.

Quite a few vintners will make a label for you for a certain purchase
amount. Windsor Vineyards (at least they used to) send out Xmas fliers that
they would vanity label amounts down to single cases. You might HOPE they
are vanity labels - I can't imagine a cruise line hiring a good winemaker...

That is my concern as well though the Windsor Vineyard I did have wasn't
a bad just unremarkable Cabernet.

I sailed Crystal last spring and they too have their own label. I was
imediately branded a wine snob for opening my own bottle even though
wine for the night was a gift. I did taste the gift, and can assure you
I made the right decision (even if my wife was embarrassed, but not too
embarrassed to share the good stuff)

Given the amount of wine a cruise line might be able to move, they could be
doing something through one of the "private label" wineries, such as Napa
Valley Wine Company, or Sonoma Wine Company. More likely, though it's done
through one of the larger wineries. If you really want to know, you might
just call Celebrity Cruise Line and ask where they get it made.

3 days worth is all they allow? I cruised last year on Celebrity and took
my usual 7 bottles.

I have a carry on with wheels that holds 6-8 bottles. I could call the
line and double check what you were told if you would like.
