I make it, plus I use a lot of the other frozen juices (Old Orchard's 100 %
juice too, but you have to be careful with those) to make wine. They come
out very well, but if you can wait until they are a year old or 1 1/2 years
old they taste much better.

I Made a one gallon batch last year, but on the advice of the group
have not had any yet. Gonna give it another 6 months or so. I didn't
use frozen, I used the juice-makers liquid concentrate.

I am in the process of makeing a white/peach from frozen. I didn't
really notice a big differance in the two. I tended to make both
batches "storng." If the directions on the can say "one can for 64oz
of water" (and therefore, 4 cans per gallon) I added 5 for the
concord, and 6 for the peach.

Tee, to give you an idea of how well this wine holds up, in San
Antonio Regional Wine Guild Competitions, Welch's wines have won at
least two best of shows and probably a dozen or more first places. To
get an idea what I mean, go to
http://sarwg.jackkeller.net/competit.asp#fall2002 and just scan the
list of winners. All of the Niagara and Concord wines, including the
blends, are Welch's....

Um, I think 1 can per 64 oz would be two cans per US gallon.

Jack-

I noticed on that list that your Burgundy was from concentrate. Can
you share where you acquired the Burgundy concentrate?

Thanks-

JJ, it was Alexander's Sun Country Burgundy in the 46-oz. can. The
directions said it would make 5 gallons. I bought it to use in making
other wines (for body--instead of raisins or Welch's). I use about 11
ounces that way and then used the rest of the can to make 3 gallons of
wine. It was a bit strong at first, but aged very well.
