Default must through 1 1/2" butterfly?

Perhaps a rhetorical question, but has anyone attempted to get must
through a 1 1/2" butterfly valve? Looks like it would be just a
little tight.

At the bottom of a 500L stainless tank. Without the valve, it looks
feasible. However, the valve itself occupies 25% of the throughput (or
appears it would).
